Nehemiah 10:15

What does Nehemiah 10:15 mean?
This is part of a list of people who sealed a covenant with God during the time when the Jewish people were rebuilding Jerusalem after exile. Nehemiah is recording the names of leaders and representatives who committed themselves and their community to follow God's law and care for the temple. While we know little about these individuals personally, their names being written down shows they took this public commitment seriously, knowing their agreement would be remembered and held up as a standard for faithfulness.
