Nehemiah 1:7
“We have dealt very corruptly against you, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the ordinances, which you commanded your servant Moses.”
What does Nehemiah 1:7 mean?
Nehemiah is praying on behalf of his people, the Israelites, and he's being honest about their failure to follow God's ways. Rather than making excuses, he acknowledges that they've been seriously unfaithful, breaking the laws and guidelines God gave them through Moses.
