Micah 7:2
“The godly man has perished out of the earth, and there is no one upright among men. They all lie in wait for blood; every man hunts his brother with a net.”
What does Micah 7:2 mean?
Micah was living through a time of deep corruption in his society, and this verse captures his raw despair about it. He's looking around and seeing deception, violence, and betrayal everywhere—people using cunning (the "net") to trap and harm each other, even their own family members.
