What does Micah 3:4 mean?
When people turn away from God through their own choices and harmful actions, they eventually discover that calling out to him feels like calling into the dark. This doesn't mean God is punishing them on a whim, but rather that they've created distance through their own hands. Micah is warning the leaders and people of his time who've become corrupt and indifferent to justice that abandoning God's ways has real consequences.
