What does Micah 2:5 mean?
Micah is speaking against the wealthy landowners of his time who were stealing property from poorer neighbors through corruption and violence. He's announcing that their greed will come back on them: when God restores the land after judgment, they won't be there to receive their inherited portion. The "dividing by lot" refers to how the Promised Land was originally distributed among Israel's tribes (a sacred, fair process), and Micah is saying these unjust people will be cut off from that kind of blessing.
