What does Micah 1:2 mean?

Micah is calling everyone, everywhere, to pay attention because God is about to address the nation's injustice and corruption. He's gathering all of creation as a witness, treating this moment as serious as a court case where the Creator himself is the prosecutor. The imagery of God speaking from his holy temple reminds us that this isn't just angry rhetoric, but the word of someone who is genuinely set apart as holy and whose standards matter deeply. Even in judgment, there's an invitation embedded here: if you're willing to listen, you get to hear directly from God about what has gone wrong and what needs to change.
