What does Matthew 6:34 mean?
Jesus isn't saying tomorrow will be perfect—he's being realistic. Each day brings its own struggles, worries, and difficulties that are plenty enough to handle when they arrive. When we borrow tomorrow's problems and pile them onto today, we're actually making life harder than it needs to be right now. The invitation here is toward a kind of focused presence: do what needs doing today, trust what you can't control, and resist the exhausting habit of rehearsing future scenarios that haven't happened yet. This doesn't mean ignoring tomorrow (paying bills, making plans, and being responsible are still important), but rather not letting anxiety about what might come steal the strength and peace you need for what's actually in front of you today.
