What does Matthew 4:25 mean?

By this point in Matthew's gospel, Jesus' reputation was spreading rapidly, and people from all directions were drawn to him. This verse names specific regions surrounding Galilee to show just how far his influence had reached, and how diverse the crowds were. What's striking is that these weren't just nearby followers, but people willing to travel significant distances because they'd heard about his teaching and healing. The geographic sweep here paints a picture of someone whose message was breaking through local boundaries and catching people's attention across an entire region.
