What does Matthew 27:55 mean?

When Jesus died on the cross, his closest male disciples had fled in fear, but these women stayed. They had traveled with him throughout his ministry in Galilee, supporting his work however they could, and their faithfulness didn't stop when things became dangerous. Their presence at the crucifixion, watching from a distance, shows a quiet kind of courage that the Bible wants us to notice, especially since women's testimonies held little legal weight in that culture. These weren't passive observers but active followers who chose to remain loyal when loyalty cost something real.
