What does Matthew 21:17 mean?

After facing the hostility and hard questions of the religious leaders in Jerusalem, Jesus withdrew to the nearby village of Bethany, where he had friends who offered him rest and welcome. This wasn't a moment of defeat, but a deliberate choice to step away from the tension and noise to find peace and community. For those of us carrying heavy burdens or navigating conflict, there's something reassuring in seeing Jesus himself recognize the need to leave a difficult situation and find a quiet place with people who cared for him.
