What does Matthew 19:30 mean?
Jesus is flipping our usual way of measuring success and importance upside down. In his kingdom, the people we might dismiss as insignificant, overlooked, or at the bottom of the social ladder will find themselves honored and close to God, while those who've climbed to the top through ambition, status, or power may find themselves last. It's a gentle warning that our earthly rankings mean almost nothing in God's eyes, and an encouragement that no one is too small or too late to matter in his story. If you feel invisible or left behind right now, Jesus is saying your position in God's heart is not determined by the world's scorecards.
