What does Matthew 13:30 mean?
In this part of Jesus's parable about weeds growing in a wheat field, he's describing the end of time when God will finally separate what's good from what's harmful. The farmer in the story lets both plants grow side by side rather than trying to root out the weeds immediately, because pulling them up too early could damage the wheat growing nearby. This speaks to something many of us struggle with: the reality that good and bad often coexist in our world, our communities, and even our own hearts, and we can't always fix everything right now. Jesus is saying that separation and judgment belong to God's hands, not ours. Instead of getting consumed by trying to purge everything we see as wrong, we're invited to focus on our own growth and trust that God sees what we cannot and will bring true justice and restoration in the end.
