What does Mark 4:35 mean?

Jesus and his disciples had spent the day with crowds of people listening to parables about God's kingdom. As sunset approached and exhaustion likely set in, Jesus simply said it was time to move on, to cross the Sea of Galilee to the other side. What makes this moment matter is what happens next: a fierce storm will rise up, the disciples will panic thinking they're about to die, and Jesus will sleep peacefully through it all. But right here, in this quiet sentence, Jesus is already modeling faith. He's not worried about the crossing or what lies ahead. He's simply ready to go where he needs to go, trusting that all will be well. Sometimes the deepest faith shows up not in dramatic moments but in the simple willingness to take the next step.
