Mark 3:35
“For whoever does the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.””
What does Mark 3:35 mean?
Jesus is saying that spiritual connection runs deeper than family ties. When you commit yourself to following God's ways, you become part of his inner circle, as close to him as a sibling or parent. This wasn't meant to diminish his earthly family, but rather to expand who belongs to God's household and to show that faith matters more than blood relations. It's an invitation: regardless of your background or who your relatives are, doing what God asks of you places you right at the center of his family.
