What does Mark 3:22 mean?
When Jesus healed people by driving out demons, the religious leaders from Jerusalem didn't celebrate or investigate. Instead, they accused him of being possessed by Beelzebul (another name for Satan) and claimed his power came from the devil himself, not from God. It's a striking moment that shows how fear and pride can twist what we see: the same miraculous act that should have pointed toward God's goodness was reframed as proof of evil. The accusation reveals more about the accusers' closed hearts than about Jesus, since they couldn't tolerate the possibility that his authority challenged their own position and understanding of how God works.
