What does Mark 14:65 mean?
Jesus was being interrogated before the Sanhedrin (the Jewish council), and when he claimed to be the Messiah and Son of God, they considered it blasphemy. Their response shows how mockery and cruelty often follow conviction in corrupt systems: they blindfolded him and demanded he prove himself by prophesying who was hitting him, all while actually striking him. It's a brutal picture of people twisting power into humiliation, turning vulnerability into entertainment.
