What does Mark 13:32 mean?
Jesus is being honest about the limits of human knowledge when it comes to when the end of the world will come. Despite all the speculation and prediction throughout history, no one, not even Jesus himself during his earthly ministry, has been given that information. Only God the Father knows when this will happen. This matters because it frees us from anxiety about trying to pinpoint the timing and refocuses us on what we can actually do now: living faithfully, treating others well, and staying spiritually alert. It's an invitation to trust God's timing rather than waste energy on calculations that are impossible anyway. Many people find peace in that, especially when they're tempted to worry about the future or put their lives on hold waiting for something that may not come in their lifetime.
