Mark 13:30
“Most certainly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things happen.”
What does Mark 13:30 mean?
Jesus is speaking about end-times events, and he's telling his listeners that the fulfillment of what he's describing won't be pushed off into some distant, irrelevant future. Whether he means the generation listening to him then, or the generation that witnesses the final signs, the core message is the same: these things matter and they're coming. He's reassuring people that God's plans aren't vague or indefinitely postponed, but concrete and real. For us today, it can mean trusting that God is actively working toward his purposes, not abandoning the world or dragging his feet, and that we don't need to treat his promises as though they're optional or mythical.
