What does Luke 8:55 mean?
When Jesus brought this young girl back to life, her return to normal functioning was immediate and complete. Her spirit coming back means she regained full consciousness and vitality, not just a faint sign of life. Jesus then did something wonderfully practical: he made sure she was fed, recognizing that a body brought back from death would need nourishment and care.
