What does Luke 8:39 mean?
When Jesus healed the demon-possessed man in the region of the Gerasenes, he didn't ask him to follow as a disciple or join the traveling group. Instead, Jesus sent him back to his own community to tell his story, and the man did exactly that, sharing with everyone what had happened to him.
