What does Luke 8:25 mean?
Jesus asks this question after calming a violent storm while his disciples panicked in fear. He's gently pointing out the disconnect between what they've already witnessed about him and how they reacted in crisis. When we're scared, it's easy to forget what we actually know to be true. The disciples' amazement at his power over nature reflects something real: they're beginning to understand they're in the presence of someone beyond ordinary. But Jesus seems less interested in their amazement than in their fear. He's inviting them to consider that trust isn't about having no storms in life, but about remembering who's with you in them.
