Luke 7:6
“Jesus went with them. When he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying to him, “Lord, don’t trouble yourself, for I am not worthy for you to come under my roof.”
What does Luke 7:6 mean?
A Roman military officer had asked Jesus to heal his servant, and Jesus agreed to go to his house. But as Jesus got close, the centurion sent messengers with a surprising message: don't come all the way, because I'm not good enough for you to enter my home.
