Luke 5:2

What does Luke 5:2 mean?
Jesus arrives at the shore and finds the fishing boats empty while the men are focused on their nets, rinsing away the night's catch. This small detail shows the real, ordinary world these disciples lived in, not some imagined spiritual realm. It's in this moment of humble work that Jesus will call them to something entirely different, showing us that God often meets us right in the middle of our everyday tasks and responsibilities, not somewhere elevated or "religious."
