What does Luke 5:14 mean?
Jesus has just healed a man of leprosy, and now he's giving him clear instructions about what comes next. Rather than spreading the news of the miracle, the healed man should go directly to the priest, who was responsible for officially declaring someone clean and allowing them to rejoin their community. This wasn't Jesus trying to hide his power, but rather directing the man to follow the proper Jewish law so his healing would be recognized and validated.
