What does Luke 3:37 mean?

This is part of Jesus's family tree, tracing his ancestry back through the oldest figures in the Bible. Methuselah was known for living longer than anyone else in Scripture (969 years), and Enoch was the man who walked so closely with God that he was taken directly to heaven without experiencing death. These names might feel distant and hard to pronounce, but each one represents a real person in the unbroken line connecting ancient humanity to Jesus himself. The genealogy reminds us that Jesus wasn't dropped into history from nowhere, but came from a long heritage of people, some faithful and some flawed, stretching all the way back to the beginning.
