What does Luke 22:24 mean?

The disciples had just shared the Last Supper with Jesus, a moment heavy with meaning since he'd told them one of them would betray him. Yet instead of sitting with that weight, they began arguing about who among them was the most important or deserved the highest rank. It's a painfully human moment, showing how easily we slip into pride and competition, even in sacred spaces and difficult times. Jesus would respond to this by teaching them that true greatness in God's kingdom looks nothing like worldly power, but instead comes through humble service to others.
