What does Luke 19:41 mean?

Jesus wept as he approached Jerusalem, grieving over the city even as crowds were celebrating his arrival. He could see what was coming, the destruction that would fall on the people he loved, and it moved him to tears. This moment shows us that Jesus wasn't distant or detached from human suffering, but deeply, emotionally moved by it. His tears remind us that God cares intensely about us and our future, not as some abstract principle but with the tender heart of someone who loves us.
