What does Luke 19:33 mean?

The disciples are borrowing a donkey for Jesus to ride into Jerusalem, but they haven't asked the owner's permission first (Jesus simply told them where to find it). When the owners spot them untying the animal, they naturally demand an explanation, since having someone take your property without permission looks like theft. It's a moment of tension that shows how much faith the disciples needed to follow Jesus's unusual instructions, trusting that the situation would somehow work itself out. The owners' skeptical question reflects how strange and risky the whole thing appears from an outside perspective.
