What does Luke 19:30 mean?

Jesus is sending his disciples on an unusual errand just before his final entry into Jerusalem. He describes exactly what they'll find, as if he already knows it's there, and asks them to bring a young donkey that has never been ridden. The specificity of his instructions, combined with the detail that the animal is untrained, hints at something remarkable: either Jesus had made prior arrangements, or he's demonstrating knowledge beyond the ordinary. Either way, the disciples are being asked to trust him enough to carry out what might seem like an odd request. For those listening to this account, it reinforces that Jesus isn't stumbling toward Jerusalem by accident, but moving forward with purpose and awareness, even as difficult things lie ahead.
