What does Luke 15:1 mean?
The religious leaders of Jesus's time considered tax collectors and sinners to be the worst kind of people, yet they were drawn to Jesus like nothing else. This verse opens a chapter of three stories about lost things being found and celebrated, and it sets the scene by showing who actually wanted to be around Jesus.
