What does Luke 11:10 mean?

Jesus is describing how God responds to genuine seeking. When you ask God for something, you receive an answer (though not always the answer you expected). When you search for Him or for truth, you discover what you're looking for. When you persistently knock on the door, it opens to you. The beautiful promise here is about God's availability and responsiveness. He's not distant or withholding. The emphasis on "everyone" matters too, especially if you've felt like your prayers don't matter or like you're too far gone to be heard. Jesus is saying the opposite: this openness applies to all who genuinely pursue God. It's an invitation to bring your questions, your needs, and your restless seeking directly to Him with confidence that He will meet you.
