What does Luke 10:16 mean?
Jesus is speaking to his disciples about their role as messengers, and he's making something bold clear: when they share his words and way with others, they're not just representing him in some distant sense. They carry his actual authority. To listen to them is to listen to him, and to turn away from them is to turn away from him. This can feel weighty, especially if you're sharing faith with someone who responds with indifference or pushback. But it also means you don't have to wonder if your words matter or if you're enough for the task. When you speak what you've genuinely received, Jesus stands with that message.
