What does Luke 1:64 mean?

Zechariah had been unable to speak for nine months because he doubted the angel's promise that his elderly wife Elizabeth would have a son. When their baby John was born and Zechariah wrote on a tablet that his name would be John (confirming what God had said), his voice suddenly returned. His first act wasn't to complain or explain his silence, but to praise God, which tells us something beautiful about what happens when we stop resisting God's plans and trust him instead. Sometimes the deepest blessings come right after we let go of our doubts and finally say yes to what God is doing.
