What does Leviticus 25:13 mean?

After fifty years of following God's laws about rest and release, the Jubilee year was when everything reset. Anyone who had sold land because of debt got it back, and slaves went free to return home to their families. It was God's way of saying that no hardship is permanent, and that He cares about keeping people from falling into endless cycles of loss and servitude. For those going through really difficult seasons, this speaks to the reality that what feels like a final ending might not be, and that restoration and return home are possible.
