What does Leviticus 23:7 mean?
In the ancient Jewish calendar, the first day of Passover was set apart as a sacred gathering day, much like a Sabbath. This meant the community came together for worship and remembrance, and ordinary labor was to stop so people could focus on what mattered most: reflecting on God's deliverance and being present with their families and faith community.
