What does Leviticus 22:29 mean?

When you give something to God with a grateful heart, you're not just going through the motions, you're actually creating space for God to meet you there. The ancient Israelites offered sacrifices at the temple as an act of worship, and this verse reminds us that the *attitude* behind the gift matters as much as the gift itself. A thankful offering, given freely and genuinely, draws us closer to God in a way that reluctant or proud giving never could. Today, that might look like prayer offered with real appreciation, generosity given with joy, or simply pausing to acknowledge God's goodness, knowing that authentic gratitude is always something he welcomes.
