What does Leviticus 14:35 mean?
When someone noticed something wrong in their home, the law required them to report it to the priest before touching or moving anything. This wasn't about shame or judgment, but about getting wisdom from someone trained to identify what was actually dangerous. The "plague" mentioned could be mold, decay, or disease spreading through the structure, and the priest's role was practical: to examine the problem carefully and advise whether the home could be cleaned or needed to be quarantined.
