“then the priest shall examine it; and behold, if the hair in the bright spot has turned white, and its appearance is deeper than the skin; it is leprosy. It has broken out in the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is the plague of leprosy.”
What does Leviticus 13:25 mean?
This passage describes how a priest would diagnose leprosy by observing specific physical signs in a burn wound. If the hair in the affected area turned white and the spot appeared sunken deeper than the surrounding skin, it indicated the disease had taken hold.
