What does Judges 5:18 mean?

When the prophetess Deborah called Israel to fight against Canaanite oppression, some tribes answered more readily than others. Zebulun and Naphtali were among those who didn't hold back, rushing into battle despite the danger and sacrificing their own safety for the sake of their people's freedom. This verse celebrates their courage and willingness to put everything on the line, contrasting them with other tribes who stayed home or hesitated. It's a reminder that sometimes protecting what matters most requires real personal risk and commitment, not just words of support from a distance.
