What does Judges 19:22 mean?
This passage describes one of the darkest moments in Judges, where a violent mob demands that a householder hand over his male guest for sexual assault. The "wicked fellows" represent lawlessness and depravity that had taken root in the town, and their demand shows how far the community had fallen into behavior that violated both hospitality customs and basic human dignity.
