What does Judges 18:11 mean?
The tribe of Dan was looking for a new home. Their original territory in Israel was too small and crowded, so six hundred armed men set out to scout and claim better land. This moment captures the beginning of a migration story that, while presented matter-of-factly here, ultimately led the Danites to take what wasn't theirs and leave behind a spiritual legacy of idolatry.
