What does Judges 16:20 mean?

Samson wakes to danger, confident he'll escape just like he always has, but something crucial has changed that he doesn't realize. His incredible strength came from God's Spirit, not from his own body or willpower, and that power has left him because of his choices and broken promises. He's about to discover that muscle and experience mean nothing without God's presence, and that confidence built on anything other than faithfulness to God is hollow. This moment captures the hard truth that we can drift away from God's help without even noticing it at first, until we hit a wall we can't push through.
