What does Judges 16:11 mean?
Samson is caught in a cycle of deception with Delilah, who keeps trying to discover the secret of his supernatural strength. Each time she tests him, he gives her false information, perhaps playing along or testing her loyalty, but his lies are catching up with him. He tells her that new, unused ropes would weaken him, knowing this isn't true but letting her believe it anyway.
