Jude 1:25
βto God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen.β
What does Jude 1:25 mean?
This closing doxology celebrates God's complete wisdom and authority over all things. Jude is reminding his readers that despite the troubling false teachers he's just warned about, God remains absolutely in control and worthy of all honor. The phrase "both now and forever" anchors us in the reality that God's power isn't limited to some distant future, but is active and trustworthy in our present struggles too. It's an invitation to shift our focus from anxiety about spiritual deception to confidence in the One who sees everything clearly and will ultimately set all things right.
