Joshua 4:12

What does Joshua 4:12 mean?
These three tribes, who had already received their land east of the Jordan River, honored their commitment to help their fellow Israelites cross over and claim the promised land. Even though they could have stayed behind, they showed up fully prepared and ready to fight alongside the other tribes, fulfilling the promise they had made to Moses years earlier.
