What does Joshua 4:12 mean?

These three tribes, who had already received their land east of the Jordan River, honored their commitment to help their fellow Israelites cross over and claim the promised land. Even though they could have stayed behind, they showed up fully prepared and ready to fight alongside the other tribes, fulfilling the promise they had made to Moses years earlier. This crossing was one of the most significant moments in Israel's history, and these tribes made sure they would be there to support it. It's a beautiful example of keeping your word and standing with others during something important, even when you've already secured what you personally need.
