What does Joshua 22:1 mean?

Joshua is gathering three tribes together to address them at a significant moment. These groups had committed to fighting alongside the other Israelite tribes to conquer the promised land, and now that the battles were largely won, Joshua is about to release them to return home to the land east of the Jordan River. It's a moment of both recognition and transition, where a leader acknowledges those who kept their word and prepares them for what comes next. There's something quietly important about being called by name and remembered for your faithfulness.
