What does Joshua 21:30 mean?

These are two of the towns set aside for the Levites (the priestly tribe) when the Israelites divided up the promised land. After Joshua's conquests, the other tribes gave specific cities to the Levites so they'd have places to live and work, since the Levites didn't receive their own territory like everyone else did. This verse is part of a careful list showing how those towns were distributed fairly across the different regions, including this portion given to Levites serving near the tribe of Asher in the north. It's a practical detail that reflects God's care for providing for all his people, especially those set apart for spiritual leadership.
