What does Joshua 19:31 mean?
The tribe of Asher has just received their allotted land in the Promised Land, and this verse marks the official summary of what belongs to them. Each of Israel's twelve tribes got a specific portion of territory, with cities and surrounding farmland, distributed fairly among their family groups. This wasn't random or based on favoritism, but part of God's intentional plan to settle the people he'd brought out of Egypt.
