What does Joshua 15:61 mean?

This verse is simply listing towns that fell within the territory of Judah, specifically in the harsh desert region east of Jerusalem. These three settlements, Beth Arabah, Middin, and Secacah, were small communities scattered across the Judean wilderness, an area of rocky badlands and sparse vegetation that many of us would find unforgiving and isolated. The fact that they're named alongside other towns suggests these were real places where real people lived, worked, and worshiped God, even in difficult terrain. It's a quiet reminder that God's people have always existed everywhere, including in places that seem forgotten or far from the centers of power.
