What does Joshua 14:12 mean?
At eighty-five years old, Caleb is asking Joshua for the rugged, challenging hill country that everyone else fears because it's inhabited by the Anakim, a fearsome people known for their size and strength. Rather than requesting the easy, already-conquered lands, he's choosing the hardest assignment and trusting that God will help him succeed.
